Electricity re-energization / saiten
再点 saiten
Making electricity usable again at a supply point that was stopped, normally as part of a new move-in contract.
The retailer sends the start request through the local distribution network operator. With a smart meter, energization can often be remote; a breaker, locked meter room, safety issue or equipment condition may require action at the property.
Choose the desired start day early and follow the retailer's instructions about the main breaker. Re-energization is different from restoration after unpaid bills and different from an ordinary retailer switch while power remains on.
