SoftBank Ouchi no Denwa
おうちのでんわ ouchi no denwa
SoftBank's construction-free fixed telephone service that connects a telephone to a dedicated unit and uses the LTE network.
An eligible number originally issued through specified fixed-line services can be continued. SoftBank advertises installation by plugging the telephone into the unit, including in rental housing without line construction, but an application, delivery and activation process still applies.
For emergency calls, the mobile network is used and a dedicated 070/080/090 emergency-calling number and approximate location may be notified. Check fax, security device and unavailable-number compatibility, set discounts, power needs and number-porting fees.
