Booking a time slot before visiting a carrier shop.

A reservation (来店予約) is strongly recommended at carrier and sub-brand shops. Walk-ins may be accepted, but you can face a long wait or limited same-day service when the shop is busy.

You book on the carrier's website or app: choose a shop, a date and time, and the procedure (new contract, MNP, device change, plan consultation). You will usually get a confirmation by email or SMS.

Bring the documents for your procedure to the appointment. If you are missing something, the visit often cannot be completed and you will need to rebook.
