Handling fees and add-ons

Shop contract handling fee is generally ¥4,950; DOCOMO Online Shop procedures are generally free. ahamo has separate rules.

Important cautions

• 0570, 188, international and satellite calls and some carrier-specified numbers are excluded from call options.
• Family, home-internet, card and long-term discounts are conditional; the catalog shows the undiscounted plan fee.
• The U15 plan shown here started accepting applications on August 7, 2026; the older U15 First Smartphone Plan is closed.

Handling fees and add-ons

Online application/procedures are generally free. DOCOMO shop ahamo web-application or procedure assistance costs ¥3,300 per assistance service.

Important cautions

• ahamo is online-focused. Shop staff provide paid assistance while the customer operates the site; they do not take over the application.
• 0570, 188, international, satellite and other excluded numbers are not covered.
• Some newer residence-card types cannot currently be read in the online identity check; check ahamo's current document page.

au Style/au shop contract handling fee is generally ¥4,950. Online Shop fees depend on the procedure. Some plans include LTE NET/5G NET conditions.

Important cautions

• All unlimited plans may be restricted to max. 5Mbps after 200GB in a month; tethering/data-share has a separate cap shown in each row.
• Entertainment services usually require activation. After changing or cancelling a plan, a service may continue and bill directly unless separately cancelled.
• Money Activity effective prices are later cash/point rewards with card, bank, payment and shopping conditions—not the monthly plan charge.
• For eligible contracts started on or after October 1, 2025, cancellation within one year may incur ¥1,100.

New application and ordinary procedures are completed in the app/web; no shop procedure. Credit card or Paidy support depends on the application route.

Important cautions

• The table lists the regular toppings displayed in the official simulator on the check date. Limited-time/sale toppings change; the app is the final current list.
• If there is no paid topping purchase for 180 days, the line may be suspended and later cancelled. Metered call/SMS use can affect the judgment—check the current FAQ.
• Toppings expire; unused data generally does not carry over. Call options exclude 0570, 188, international, satellite and other specified numbers.

Store and online handling fees depend on the procedure/channel. Increase Option II is +¥550/month and currently adds 5GB to these plans; free-period campaigns are not included here.

• Home Set Discount, Family Set Discount and au PAY Card Discount have separate eligibility and cannot all be stacked in every case.

SoftBank shop procedures are generally ¥4,950. Online application handling is generally ¥3,850 under the fee table effective March 27, 2026; the exact procedure may differ.

• Call options exclude 0570, 188, international, satellite and other specified numbers.
• For eligible contracts started from July 1, 2026, cancellation within 12 months may total up to ¥1,100 across the voice and data basic fees.

Contract handling fee is ¥3,850. Campaign waivers are temporary and not included. A same-month cancellation charge or short-term cancellation fee may also apply under the current terms.

Important cautions

• Online-only: no normal SoftBank/Y!mobile shop procedure and no ordinary phone support.
• For newer eligible contracts cancelled within one year, the current plan pages specify ¥990 for Best Plan or ¥1,100 for Best Plan V; additional same-month cancellation conditions may apply.
• No carrier email address is included. Call options exclude 0570, 188, international, satellite and other specified numbers.

• For eligible contracts cancelled within 12 months, the current cancellation fee is ¥858 for S/M and ¥1,100 for L.
• 60+ call discounts are eligibility programs, not the standard option price. Call exclusions apply.

Contract handling is free through the cumulative fourth line; the cumulative fifth and later line costs ¥3,850 per application. The cumulative count includes cancelled lines since service launch in 2020.

Important cautions

• Free domestic calling requires Rakuten Link and a supported use case. 0570, 188 and other excluded numbers use the standard dialer and are charged separately.
• Rakuten Link incoming/outgoing behavior differs between Android and iPhone; check the current compatibility page.
• Unlimited data is subject to fair-use, congestion and partner-area conditions.
