External credit check
外部与信 gaibu yoshin
A credit check that uses information outside the carrier's own billing records, such as information held by a designated credit information agency.
Internal screening can use the carrier's own contract and payment history. External credit checking can additionally refer to registered applications, credit contracts, balances and payment status. The applicant's consent and the applicable agreement explain which agencies and information are used.
Mobile service charges and a device installment are different obligations. Ordinary monthly mobile use is not automatically a credit contract, but the installment purchase is normally registered and updated as credit information.
